Scooter Or Moped For Fashion Conscious Female (Late 20′s) ?
Posted on 26 June, by under Scooter ChatI need to get a new job out of my home town area and want to be able to get there with out relying on public transport or my boyfriend. I dont want to look or feel silly.
What do you think and why out of Scooter or Moped, and should i get a paticular colour?

The only way to go for the fashion conscious female would have to be a Vespa– Italian design can't be beat, pick the color that compliments your features

Scooter. Red. Shiny. A Honda Metropolitan would look good on you. Hondas never break. Very reliable. You can add some feminine bling to a Metropolitan and it will still fit the cool category.
I've always thought of a moped as something you have to pedal to get going. If you are in a short skirt you probably don't want to pedal anything.
In terms of "out of my hometown area" is quite wide open. A Metropolitan has a 49.9 cc engine. Good for in town kinds of stuff, 30-40 mph with no problem. Gas will be $5 bucks a gallon before long, how does 50-75 miles per gallon sound? If you are going to be out on the "open road" you might want to consider a larger displacement engine, 125 cc for instance.

If your appearance is more important than anything to you, I suggest a small economy car or a hybrid.
Any two wheeler will leave you dusty, rumpled and possibly dirtied by mud splashed by cars and trucks, not to mention the bugs that could suicide on your clothing . . .and, no, a windshield won't help that much as dust eddies behind them.
