In the state of S.carolina, when you get a dwi are you allowed to drive a scooter/moped?

Arguing that the reason why you see so many people in south carolina driving mopeds is due to people having thier class c drivers permits taken away due to dwi's. Leaving them with the alternative of walking or riding a scooter.

    Scooter yes. Moped would have to be less than 50CC's I believe.

    I do believe that what the question should reference is DUI (driving under the influence) and not
    DWI (driving while(?) impaired(?) )
