Electric moped/bike/scooter?
Posted on 07 March, by under Scooter ChatIs there any electric moped/bike/scooter that meets the specifications?
Seats: 2 people
Max Load: 250-300lbs
Speed: Less than or equal to 35mph. (don't want to go that fast, but enough so that 2 people won't make it go that slow)
Range: 30-40 miles
Charge time: Less than 10 hours.
-Price: Less than 00.
Btw, I have done alot of research etc so I'm not just being lazy. I just can't find the right one
Thank you ![]()
Also, I've heard that X-Treme wasn't that great, so if I can I'd like to stay away from that company.
Thanks again.
BladeGirl:
The Commander SHO sounds good, but how much is it? I couldn't seem to find the price anywhere. I went to the my local dealer in Florida but they do not have the Commander SHO listed as a product. And how would 250lbs affect the range and mph?
Thanks.

Veloteq makes one that meets all of your requirements:

the Commander SHO has seating large enough
to comfortably carry two people. The Commuter and Challenger could, if the passenger is small and lighter in weight.
They have a top speed of about 27 mph.
I do NOT work for them or a distributor, but I too did a lot of research looking for an electric scooter that could carry two people for under $2000. These all fit the bill, but I wanted one with a top speed of 40 mph. I did get to see them in person and they were pretty neat. If you live in the Boston area, a local dealer where you can go see them is

good luck!

Good luck. The only decent electric scooter i know of that gets the kind of speed and range you are looking for is the Vectrix. It exceeds most all of your requirements though as well as the price.
