Can I use my UK provisional driving licence to ride a scooter/moped in the USA?

Or do I need to have a full driving licence, take any tests, get a special licence while in the USA?

    I don’t think the other answerer is right. All states have laws for that. It also depends on the scooter. I have a Segway, and mines requires the regular license. I think the more powerful/expensive the scooter is, the more requirements there will be.

    Its a good question but you forgot to say where in the USA you will be at because in some states you do not need a license at all.
