i have a 74 72cc yamaha V70/ MATE scooter, there is no way on earth would i part with it or get another bike.
one of my first bikes was a newer version with the 90cc or V90 MATE, and it was no faster than this.
at 34 years old it has been around the clock once and still starts first kick, although i am getting for it a new piston and bore as they are the same motor as in the pee wee 80 and the 80cc quad made by yamaha.
for a bike as old as what it is and has done what it has done, to think it has had so little done to it as in new tires, chain, sprockets, battery, spark plug and light globes.
as a bike that was once of the title of jap crap, fuk harleys.
Theres nowt wrong with scoots Mad Tony. I ride big bikes but everyone has to start somewhere. Back in my day it was Fizzies but these modern scoots go like stink. It’s good to see the young fellas on 2 wheels, give them a year or 2 and they’ll be rididng an R6.
Having said all that, I don’t have one to sell. Sorry.
