I want to take a long distance trip on a Moped, but I don't know anything about them. I want to build one from scratch though so I can learn how to repair them. Does anyone know a good place that sells Moped/Scooter (no pedals) kits online?

i broke my seat lock on my skooter so i took the key switch now there is jus the catch and a cable coming out of it how can i make a seat lock with out a key D.I.Y job hellp ,,, it does not have to be a key,,, and its so anybody can get in... help me please,, 10 points for best answer

Im looking for a motor scooter / moped;must be 125-150cc's, small and long lasting (2 yr's + ) for an 8 mile commute to work and back each day in rain/snow. My budget is around 0.

I'm new to the whole Scooter thing and this one has caught my eye, but i can't find any reviews on it or any other information other than what's listed on the website. Does this have pedals or is it the the kind where you accelerate and brake on the handle bars. Does anyone have this or know how to drive it or have any information on it whatsoever? Also why is it a "moped" and not a "scooter" what's the difference?
