I bought my scooter brand new (less than 5km on the clock) 2 years ago, last year I got the scooter out in the morning and the battery was dead. I replaced the original battery and it worked fine for about 3 months, then the same problem happen again.
Now I use a trickle charger every night to top up the battery so it'll last me 24 hours to get to work and back.
A week ago, even after charging over night the bike wouldn't start, the battery didn't seam to have hardly any power in it (very dim headlight and the starter motor straining to kick in). I replaced the spark-plug (which had what looked like carbon deposits on the end) and left it to charge over night. This morning my bike is working again.
Does changing the spark plug effect how the battery will keep it's charge?
Why does my scooter keep going flat?
I'm 14 years old and i'm looking for a moped/scooter to ride to my cousins house and back...It's only a half mile away and I have a bike but I get tired pretty easily...I can only pay 0 though.

I need to get a new job out of my home town area and want to be able to get there with out relying on public transport or my boyfriend. I dont want to look or feel silly.
What do you think and why out of Scooter or Moped, and should i get a paticular colour?

DO i need a licence and/or a license plate?
I can not move my scooter because the front wheel is very hard. I also noticed that the right hand brake is kind of loose.
I keep it in a garage and roll it out without any problems but now I can not move it because of the problem with the front wheel. Please help
I am buying a second hand Vespa ET2 and I am looking at insurance deals. However the moped has been deresticted and has made the insurance either very high or non agreeable (ie the company won't insure it). Is there an insurance company that deal with modified bikes?
I don't really care much for speed and de-restrictions. Is it possible to re-restrict a vespa so insurance can be cheaper again?

if you own a moped scooter how much does gas cost a month?
also how many gallons in the tank?
if i drove say 30 miles a week, and 250cc.
